Kashmir Crisis.

KASHMIR CRISIS: Kashmir Crisis is now in need of prompt attention. The world has to unite and stand for inhabitants of Kashmir. This Kashmir Crisis has substantially increased the tension between India and Pakistan. The world calls for “restraint”, “de-escalation” and “peace”. US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said that in his conversation with the foreign ministers of both Pakistan and India, he “expressed to both ministers that we encourage India and Pakistan to exercise restraint, and avoid escalation at any cost”(taken from tribune). Kashmir is a diverse region in the Himalayas. Apart from its fame of the beauty of lakes, meadows and snow-capped mountains, it also possesses strong strategic importance. Kashmir is A region that borders with 3 countries and a majority of rivers originate from here. For this reason, Kashmir is hotly contested and is still an undisputed area. However, every country which has a border with Kashmir claims Kashmir as its part. To resolve this situati...

EUTHANASIA: CAN WE PLAY GOD?

Image
Euthanasia:Can we play God? Euthanasia: Mercy Killing/Good Death is not a widely accepted norm as 77% oppose it but there is a probability of its spreading like wildfire. But can we play God? Do we have a right to take somebody's life? Or can we allow somebody to take his own life? Are we playing God or God is playing with us? Probably it is all written in destiny!  ALL THESE QUESTIONS WITHOUT A PROPER ANSWER. When should euthanasia be practiced? Everybody has a different point of view but a majority of people usually prefer euthanasia when the patient is in terminal illness which means when his body and mind cannot bear the pain and there are no cures or any hopes left of his/her survival. Euthanasia is practiced after taking the consent of the patient so that the person dies peacefully without any pain. Surely, nobody knows that this is ethical or not but we must ponder about this point. Some may even consider euthanasi...

RECYCLE.

Image
RECYCLE !!!!!!   The three Rs : Recycle , Reuse and Reduce , should   be the motto of every individual in order to conserve   our meager   natural resources, however, it does not happen, in   reality we see people blatantly wasting the precious resources, such as, water, oil and timbre. Although people claim   that they recycle materials in their homes but statistics depict contradiction .i.e. only one out of ten houses recycle waste. To tackle this problem government must pass a law concerning recycling which will force a sharp rise in recycling habits in homes across the country. To further encourage this recycling campaign , some sort of bonuses, such as , reduction in taxes can be given to people who recycle, just to boost their morale and to appreciate their efforts. Along with passing of laws i...

A/OLEVEL GUIDANCE

Image
So Here We Are Again!! Its March and nearly about a month is left in CAIES, the most feared thing among O/A level students. UMMMM ONLY A MONTH IS LEFT!! Now we can take this situation in 2 ways. Either we become optimistic about it or pessimistic about it (which we usually are). This blog isn't here to threaten you about CAIES but rather encourage you and motivate you to achieve the best which you can. I am sure these TIPS will help you get Good Grades and who doesn't want As and A*s. Here we are : 1. Let us suppose we have a month left which means 30 days so that means 720 hours and let us take out sleep of 7 hours per day so we get 510 hours and even we make it 500 hours that's a lot of time to achieve anything. Hence this month is a blessing so use it properly and don't waste time because Time is a Commodity that Vast Fortunes Can't Bring Back! 2. Second and probably ( in my opinion ) the most important tip. Have proper sleep each day. Sleep and rest are impor...

A PROMISE TO BE KEPT !

Why does not he care about me? This is my question. This is what keeps me up at night. Why? Just why? Did I do something wrong? Yes! I made a promise. I look at the wall in my room, trying to forget and just go to sleep. But I can't. It's hard to forget the reality. My mind starts to wonder , what if I just go? Will he be satisfied? Probably not , until I found his precious book which I lost. Previous month, Jamal , my friend, and I went on a journey to jungle which was two hour's drive from our homes. It was Jamal's idea to visit that place as he was collecting species of plants to help him in his world changing invention , to cure carcinogenic diseases. It was the project on which he was working for many years and every detail of this was in his maroon book. Locals had already warned us about the potential dangers   of that area. Deadly snakes is one of the epitomes. In addition to this , they also warned us to be together at every step of our journey as   i...
