Euthanasia: Mercy Killing/Good Death is not a widely accepted norm as 77% oppose it but there is a probability of its spreading like wildfire. But can we play God? Do we have a right to take somebody's life? Or can we allow somebody to take his own life? Are we playing God or God is playing with us? Probably it is all written in destiny!
 ALL THESE QUESTIONS WITHOUT A PROPER ANSWER.

When should euthanasia be practiced? Everybody has a different point of view but a majority of people usually prefer euthanasia when the patient is in terminal illness which means when his body and mind cannot bear the pain and there are no cures or any hopes left of his/her survival. Euthanasia is practiced after taking the consent of the patient so that the person dies peacefully without any pain. Surely, nobody knows that this is ethical or not but we must ponder about this point. Some may even consider euthanasia suicide.

Another important part of this discussion is the misconception of euthanasia. Instead of limiting Euthanasia to terminal incurable diseases, we associate it with chronic anxiety. This anxiety is only for the time being. The depressions will be gone and our minds will heal with consultation and time. But the roots of this wrong concept have become so strong that most of the people ( without considering the positive sides of a situation) end up taking their precious life.
Here again, we have people with different opinions. They apply " My life My rules" phrase even to this situation. Yeah, you have full control over your life but just don't waste it because of rash decisions. We have to understand that euthanasia was specifically introduced for those people ( patients with incurable diseases, to be more precise,) who are just laying on the beds under the blue-white hospital lights with ventilators attached to their bodies. Euthanasia was meant for those people who are experiencing intense pain and have no other way out of it besides death. However, if we look into the broader picture we realize we are not ready to carry out euthanasia. We are immature selfish humans who make decisions only on looking at the one side of the picture. "We believe we see the whole when we in fact only just see a fraction."

 Religiously, We also consider euthanasia as an act of interfering with God's decision. People claim taking someone's life isn't our right. On the contrary, if we look, putting someone on a ventilator or taking medicines is also an act of interference of God's act ( a point to ponder upon). Yet all these actions of saving one's life and taking someone's might be written in our destiny. Might this is how it was planned by our Creator. It's a debate with no guarantee of conclusion.


 To sum up all this discussion, the concept of euthanasia is just in the beginning process which yet cannot be implemented. It will take years for 'US' (humans) to understand the laws of nature and decipher them to make wise decisions.
